The Seasons Collection "What time leaves behind"

Each piece in the Season's Collection holds a full year of my work, beginning with the first fragile blooms of spring and carrying through to the richness of fall. Every flower is gathered at its peak, locally grown and slowly pressed over weeks, preserving not only its form, but the moment it belonged to.

• Spring arrives softly with fresh greens, delicate petals, a sense of new beginning.

• Summer bursts with colour and fullness and makes us feel abundant and alive.

• Fall slowly shifts to warmer cozy tones, cooler days before the stillness of winter.

Each season carries its own rhythm, palette, and energy, but they are never separate. They flow gracefully into one another. Each season has its moment, its purpose, but none of them are here to stay for long.

These pressed flower pieces are about holding onto something that is constantly changing. About noticing the fleeting beauty we often miss. In pressing these flowers, I am inviting time to slow, even if only for a moment.

This new work reflects our connection to the earth and to the cycles of life and time we are constantly moving through. These are the largest and most meaningful pieces I’ve created to date. They carry a full season of work within them, but also a reminder to pay attention and honour where you are, while you’re in it.

Like these flowers, each season of our lives will pass quickly. It's what we choose to hold onto that becomes part of our story.
